Program Description:
Businesses are increasingly leveraging wireless technology
as a strategic asset to increase agility, reduce costs, improve worker
productivity, and boost information access. It is also playing a key role in
contingency planning as organizations put plans in place for operations
resiliency should the unthinkable happen.
Wireless technology, although around for a number of years in various forms,
has today become a business requirement rather than a business option.
Wireless tools enable employees to work from anywhere, on any device, at any
time, and on any application while still collaborating in groups and
preserving the team dynamic. Wireless technology can significantly reduce
operating risk by making many work functions location independent,
significantly improving productivity, increasing information timeliness, and
reducing application deployment costs.
This month’s breakfast meeting will provide an overview of the WiFi space
and where the market is heading. You’ll hear insights from leading
technology providers, including Cisco Systems and TowerStream. We will
explore the opportunities that IT directors, system integrators, business
leaders and their customers should take advantage of, as well as such
challenges as security.
Guest Panelists Include:
Cisco Systems
TowerStream
Harvard University
Sentri, Inc.
