Feb 24 Business Breakfast – Playing to Wynn – Everett’s New Resort and its Local Impact

Online registration is now closed for this event

Speaker: Robert DeSalvio, President, Wynn MA LLC

Host: Gordon W. Ulen, CPA

Hear the inside story on Wynn Resorts’ $1.6 billion world class resort, being built in Everett, right in our backyard. With 5-star resorts in Las Vegas and Macau China, Wynn sports a $6.2 billion market cap in NASDAQ trading.

The Everett project starts with the clean-up of a decades-old toxic waste site near on the Mystic River site, and will continue to provide major economic development stimulus in our area – including local purchases of construction materials and supplies exceeding $100 million a year when the resort reaches full operations. Regional development synergies include transportation improvements, such as new Mystic River ferry access.

Robert DeSalvio, President of Wynn MA, LLC, will present an overview of the Everett project and a preview of the new resort’s amenities. He will also cover the complex issues related to environmental clean-up requirements, plus how technology will play a crucial role in development efforts.
