Bill Skillman, President and CEO, joined Velico Medical in 2014. His 27 years of experience in the life sciences sector includes leadership positions with Johnson & Johnsons Transfusion Medicine business (Ortho Clinical Diagnostic Systems), J&Js Therakos division, and Genzyme Genetics. The talk will explore lessons learned.
Gloucester Biotechnology Academy
Gloucester Biotechnology Academy offers an intensive, hands-on training program to prepare students for careers as entry-level laboratory technicians. The Academys nine-month Biotechnology Certificate Program fosters a deep passion for science and technology by actively engaging students in the essential theory and bench skills required to work in a laboratory environment. Following the 6-month lab immersion program, students work a three-month paid internship with some of the most prestigious organizations in the greater Boston area and North Shore.
