Presentation:

In a fast-paced, mock “Shark Tank” format, three innovative early-stage biomedical companies – InsomniSolv, MCC Global Laboratories, and AdvaStim – will deliver 10-minute presentations covering their exciting and unique new products and technologies to an expert panel comprised of four Angel investors: Brad Curley of Boston Harbor Angels, Jules Fried and Eric Evans of Mass Medical Angels, and Jennifer Schwall from Cherrystone Angels.

While money isn’t at stake this time, the distinguished panel will critique each company’s presentation and provide straightforward recommendations. The event will be moderated by Annette Reynolds, Executive Director of the 128 Innovation Capital Group (128 ICG). Annette has for more than 10 years organized and hosted meetings featuring Investor speakers for entrepreneurs seeking funding. 128 ICG has been in existence for over 33 years, meeting monthly in Waltham, MA and staging special investor events and competitions at other venues.

Will the presenting companies make it to shore or be eaten alive by investors on the panel? Please join us at our next NSTC First Friday Bioscience Seminar to hear feedback from real Angel investors, network, for lunch, and to get inspired.

Additional Information

Please register in advance. The Bioscience Committee tries to order the right amount of food. At our last meeting, we had many “door registrations” and ran out of food. At the previous meeting, we had many who registered and didn’t make it, and had a lot of left over food. If you need to cancel your registration, you may contact us at events@nstc.org prior to the event deadline, 5 p.m. the day before the seminar. Thank you.
