Nature’s R&D lab has been in business for 3.8 billion years, producing stunning results. Millions of insects can swarm without a single collision and materials are produced with a higher tensile strength, and others that are tougher than anything we can develop. Peter Lawrence, President and Co-Founder of Biomimicry New England, will highlight nature’s examples and opportunities such as new methods for conducting highly-targeted drug delivery, harvesting water from the air, and reducing energy consumption as inspired by bees.
