Caroline Katsiroubas, Community Manager at Freight Farms, will discuss their Leafy Green Machine, a complete vertical hydroponic growing facility outfitted with LED lighting and intuitive climate controls that is built entirely inside a shipping container allowing for year-round local, fresh produce that is always in season. Join us and learn how a more sustainable and connected food system is now a reality.

About our Speaker:
Caroline Katsiroubas, Community Manager, Freight Farms
Caroline Katsiroubas is the Community Manager at Freight Farms, an agriculture technology company based in Boston, MA that provides tools and infrastructure to enable fresh food production in any environment. After being exposed to the many intricacies of the food system growing up, Caroline pursued a career at Freight Farms because it provided an opportunity to combine a passion for sustainability with a desire to create positive change in the food supply chain. Caroline received a BS in Sociology and Environmental Studies from Northeastern University and has experience working with the National Park Service, Environmental Health Fund, and The Grand Canyon Trust.
