Our next Forum will be held on December 13th (please note that this is the 2nd, not 1st Wednesday of the month). We are pleased to welcome Wayne Castonguay, Executive Director of the Ipswich River Watershed Association who will be speaking on “reducing community risk through increasing natural resource resiliency.” The Ipswich River Watershed Association is doing important work which they will share with us in December. In advance of our meeting, they have a number of events coming up, including the Great Marsh Symposium on November 9th, which I mentioned on Wednesday. Visit their site for more event information.

About Ipswich River Watershed Association:

Work Together for a Clean and Healthy River

The Ipswich River Watershed Association is the voice of the Ipswich River. We work to protect nature and make sure that there is enough clean water for people, fish and wildlife, today and for our children and theirs.

The Ipswich River and streams, ponds and coastal waters of our region are healthy and beautiful. Clean water flows year-round, and native fish and wildlife thrive. Natural areas help keep the river clean and provide places for families to enjoy nature. Our drinking water is clean, safe and adequate to meet our needs. The Ipswich River Watershed Association works in partnership with communities, businesses, schools, and other organizations and residents to protect the river.
